This movie is a loving picture of Duke Ellington through the eyes of people who loved him and were close to him. Loved watching it.

After watching Ken Burns Jazz and really enjoying the experience! I came across this little jewel in Amazon prime video selection. You simply cannot say enough about this true American Treasure. Revered around the world as one of the founders of Jazz he was a incredibly prolific composer and arranger of Jazz standards that still stand the test of time.
