Dreadlock Rock : the Story of Reggae Music

One mans spiritual journey into a mystical world of Reggae and Rastafari...
Great film all round, although not the faint hearted this new release contains part 1 and 2 and is a 2hr+ film! It documents the story of musician Jack Miller who was a band member of "Rebel Rockers"(?) in the US which was one of the first white reggae bands at this time in the US and his love of Reggae took him to the island where all his favorite music was being made. This is the film which documents that journey and the beginnings of a successful music career working with some of the biggest names in Reggae.
Get straight into the heart of Kingstons reggae scene via Jacks video camera and interviews. Featuring both archival footage and modern interviews looking back at the time when he made his first album at Channel One.
A must for any reggae music/film enthusiast....

Very nice rockumentary
This documentary is very informative and seems to include every major singer who played a part in the development of reggae music, although I'm not an authority. It gives the roots of reggae and goes on to show how reggae has spread around the world. It's very informative and, or course, the music is great.

Great Documentary !!!!!
One of the best reggae films to date !!! I really enjoyed this film and would recommend to anyone who loves music
