The Student's Advantage

A Primer for respecting the choices students must make
Wyne Ince has stepped forward as a motivational speaker and writer for students of the high school level on how to approach education not only on a daily basis but also one a philosophical basis. This is perhaps one of the more devoted books focusing on teenagers as any one the market. For once the book is not a manual for parents on how to cope with their non-motivated, distracted, potential failures of teenagers - though this book could be very well placed in the hands of parents also. But primarily Ince is offering systems for students to grow into the appreciation for education as a step in finding a happy and successful life.

He offers seven learning secrets - Ask questions, Re-state it in your own words, Give examples of it, Make connections between it and what you already know, Apply it to a real-life situation, Teach it, Talk about it; A road map for student success - Setting goals, Managing your time, Opening your mind, Being shrewd, Mastering your subject,...

Fantastic Motivational Guide For Students
Wyne Ince's "The Student's Advantage" is an engaging read for teens and adults alike. The book covers topics that are simply not addressed in our schools today -- why is it important to have a solid educational foundation, and how to get there. The Student's Advantage is different; it helps teens understand through exercises and case studies the WHY education is important...in their language in a down to earth manner.

The 10 Steps in the Student's Success Roadmap reaffirm how students must proceed on a path towards success and guides students on how to take their passion, talent and energy and focus on the life they desire. It is my belief that this book can help students self-motivate and prepare for their future. School counselors, teachers, parents, and foster parents will find Ince's teachings to be relevant while students will find it to be a blend...

Fabulous!!
"The Student's Advantage" is absolutely the best compilation of vital information for learning that I've ever seen!! When I was reading this, I was constantly saying yes, yes, yes, hallelujah!! During my many years of teaching English and Composition to students from grades 2 through the sophomore year of college, I provided this information, verbally and piece-meal,to my students because I knew they needed it in order to be a better student and to be more of a success in every area of their lives. There were no classes on the subjects found in Mr. Wynce's book, nor could I find any books with all this incredible guidance in its contents.

Everyone will find interesting the chapter on famous people and their success stories. Hopefully, there will be qualities found in these people that the student will admire and strive to emulate.

I would love to see classes based on this book taught to all students in middle school and high school. I find that college students...
